ABOUT JESSICA COPPEDGE
I grew up on the plains of West Texas, roaming cotton fields and skating at my grandma's skating rink.
I studied Family Studies and Human Development at Texas Tech, then drove my Honda Civic to Kentucky for a Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.
I married my seminary sweetheart, and we raised our two kids in a small Kentucky town. These days I'm also a dog mom to an energetic Aussie.
I hold my Certification in Spiritual Direction from Selah, Leadership Transformations. I love accompanying people as they find their true selves and rest in the vast love of God.
MY APPROACH
Shared silence is fertile ground
I've found regular silence to be quietly powerful. Shared silence especially, which I find is fertile ground for the Holy One's presence.
A main goal in working with me is to grow at ease with silence, and through it to become grounded in the present moment. It's been said that God is most easily found there.
That deepening awareness helps us become more tuned in with ourselves and with God, and to sense more readily how God is at work in our lives.
A space to listen, to be deeply heard, and to be held in prayer.
